Five years ago, none of us knew exactly where we'd be today.
Some of us landed our dream jobs. Others changed direction completely, took risks, faced rejection or discovered ambitions we didn't even know we had.
And that's something we've been reminded of while celebrating five years of Female x Finance: the most interesting career stories are rarely the ones that go according to plan.
So, to close our anniversary celebrations, we're bringing you a few of those stories. From two women reconnecting five years after their first interview, to the women in our community who are making their own rules and creating opportunities along the way.

Five Years Later. Did Life Go as Planned?
Five years ago, Amnah and Juliëtte had big ambitions. But neither could have predicted where they'd be today.
Back in 2021, they sat down to talk about ambition and building a career in finance.
Today, Amnah Ajmal has been recognised among the top 25 fintech leaders in the US and published her own book. Juliëtte, who once dreamed of breaking into finance, is now building a career in engineering in New York.
But what happened between then and now?
On 21 October, they're coming back together to talk about the rejections, turning points, changing definitions of success and why vulnerability might be one of the most underrated leadership skills.
